Final Polio Walk, El Dorado

Dear Rotarians,

The El Dorado Rotary Club held a successful Polio Walk on Saturday. Thirteen members including Kristy Randall, Micaela Ayers, David Coryell, Kurt Bookout, Brenda Burk, Tom Boren, Matt Rehder, Bret Koontz, Charley Greene, David Stewart, Caleb McNary, Harry Fitzgerald and myself participated in the event. Counting family and friends, about 35 people participated in the Polio Walk and the pizza lunch afterwards.

A reminder to the club members, that there will be NO REGULAR WEDNESDAY MEETING this week. For those of you who still have polio donations to turn in, please bring them to the next meeting on Wednesday, May 11th. You may also mail your Polio contribution to the El Dorado Rotary Club, P.O. Box 255, El Dorado, KS 67042.

To date, the club has raised $850.00 and we hope to pass the $1,000.00 mark. Enclosed is a group picture of the participants. Julie Clements of the El Dorado Times covered the event. An article in the newspaper will appear this week. Thanks again for your support of the End Polio Now Campaign.
