I had just a few announcements I wanted to make sure everyone was either reminded of, or made aware of if you weren't able to make it today: DECEMBER: Wednesday, December 5 (NEXT WEEK): Delivering dictionaries to 3rd graders. We'll meet at Butler Electric Coop to load dictionaries at 9:30 Head to Grandview to start delivering at 10:00am, then to Blackmore, Oil Hill, and Skelly Wednesday, December 19- no regular meeting THURSDAY, December 20- joint meeting with Kiwanis; 12:00 @ Security First Title: 114 E Central Wednesday, December 26- no meeting, Merry Christmas January: Wednesday, January 2- no meeting Mandi Hursh, O.D. Good afternoon! I'm sure everyone missed hearing from me last week ;) I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break with lots of food and family! We're back to our regular day, time, and location this week. We will be hearing from AFS exchange students Cote Alvarado from Chile and Bella Winter from Brazil. They will be telling us about their home countries as well as what it’s like to be an exchange student. Cote is currently an exchange student with Rotarian Kurt Bookout, so he will also share some about the AFS organization and what it's like to be a host parent. This is an online education firm that offers an American elementary education experience to Chinese students aged 4-12. So, Holly teaches Chinese children from the comfort on her own home!
