Hello Rotarians, One day early but have some good news I wanted to share!! Hope to see you Wednesday! From Bernie: I just received word from Rotary District 5690 that our grant proposal was approved for a Numana packaging event with El Dorado Middle School next fall. District 5690 will provide $4125 and our Rotary club will contribute $1375 for a total of $5500. That will provide around 18,000 meals. Butler Community College is hosting Bob Dole this week. Rotary's plan is to meet for dinner at 12 Noon as usual, then adjourn to hear him speak upstairs. (Board meeting is scheduled for its regular time at 11 a.m.) We are honored to host Senator Bob Dole on campus this coming Wednesday. Please come if you can….. Meet and Greet Senator Bob Dole! Wednesday, May 14, 12:30-1:30 Clifford/Stone Room, Hubbard Welcome Center Former Congressman and U.S. Senator Bob Dole will visit El Dorado allowing Butler County residents to have an opportunity to meet him and express appreciation for his service to our country.
