Group Study Exchange (GSE) Arrive from Australia

The GSE Team had a fast start in El Dorado after arriving last night via a hand-off from the Wichita club at Stearman Restaurant at the airport in Benton. They began their official itinerary by visiting the El Dorado Wetlands and Water Reclamation Facility. A barbeque lunch was served in the center of wetlands at the Gazebo/Environmental Education Kiosk. The weather cooperated and offered a cool breeze through shaded picnic area under the gazebo.
Members included are Rotarian Paul Cox, the GSE leader; Kim Crawford, Joshua Devitt, Angela Maynard, Chantelle Montgomery, and Tim Watts.

I am sending this early but wanted you all to have the information. You may want to bring a guest. This week’s Rotary program is Brian Stucky, from Goessel, Kansas. Brian’s area of expertise is in pioneer trails in central Kansas. He was invited in August 2012 to speak to the National Convention of the Oregon-California Trails Association . He has done research on the Cherokee trail that came through El Dorado and will be telling us about the early trails and beginnings of El Dorado . Dynamic Discs presents at Nov. 16 meeting

Dear Rotarians, Join us this week to welcome our newest member Ashley Sandstrum as she is inducted into Rotary. Last week we heard from Annette Gurney (Badway) from the US Attorney’s Office. She had some pretty interesting case pictures that she shared with us. This week: Dixon Jowers with Dynamic Discs will be here. They are the designer for the course.
