Dear Rotarians,

Last week: We heard from Larry Crouse from the KSU Extension Office. I know many of us have got that Spring planting feeling.

This week: Suzie Locke and Staci Rickard will be talking to us about the “Togetherhood Program” from the YMCA. I like the theme – We should be in this world together. I think that might be one of the themes of Rotary as well.

Rotarian of the Day is Jessica Rall

We will be “together” at the Butler Welcome Center at Noon.

I am sending this early but wanted you all to have the information. You may want to bring a guest. This week’s Rotary program is Brian Stucky, from Goessel, Kansas. Brian’s area of expertise is in pioneer trails in central Kansas. He was invited in August 2012 to speak to the National Convention of the Oregon-California Trails Association . He has done research on the Cherokee trail that came through El Dorado and will be telling us about the early trails and beginnings of El Dorado . Dynamic Discs presents at Nov. 16 meeting

Dear Rotarians, Join us this week to welcome our newest member Ashley Sandstrum as she is inducted into Rotary. Last week we heard from Annette Gurney (Badway) from the US Attorney’s Office. She had some pretty interesting case pictures that she shared with us. This week: Dixon Jowers with Dynamic Discs will be here. They are the designer for the course.
