Hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Let us remember all who have served and are serving our country especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Join us this Wednesday when we hear from Evan Graber our Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar and hear about his year in Scotland.

The following week we will be touring the new Butler Welcome Center at the college. I will need an accurate count for box lunches by this Friday. If you will not be at the meeting this Wednesday and are planning on attending the following week please let me know so I can order a lunch for you.

For board members, a reminder that there is a board meeting at 11 this week prior to the club meeting

I am sending this early but wanted you all to have the information. You may want to bring a guest. This week’s Rotary program is Brian Stucky, from Goessel, Kansas. Brian’s area of expertise is in pioneer trails in central Kansas. He was invited in August 2012 to speak to the National Convention of the Oregon-California Trails Association . He has done research on the Cherokee trail that came through El Dorado and will be telling us about the early trails and beginnings of El Dorado . Dynamic Discs presents at Nov. 16 meeting

Dear Rotarians, Join us this week to welcome our newest member Ashley Sandstrum as she is inducted into Rotary. Last week we heard from Annette Gurney (Badway) from the US Attorney’s Office. She had some pretty interesting case pictures that she shared with us. This week: Dixon Jowers with Dynamic Discs will be here. They are the designer for the course.
