Tornado Memorial

The second plaque was placed earlier this week at the Tornado Memorial in Graham Park. It lists the names of the thirteen people killed in the June 10, 1958 tornado. The landscaping at the park really looks terrific. If you have not been by the park lately, please stop by and visit.

There will be a committee meeting on Thursday evening, November 6, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. in the Commission Room in City Hall at 220 E. First. Rotarians and the general public are invited. We will plan the creation of the remaining eleven plaques to be placed at the memorial. Each plaque will tell a different aspect of the tragic night.
