Dear Rotarians,
Last week we heard from Erin-Kate Gomez and Dr. Amy Seeber will be doing a program about George Myers recent race through Death Valley with the Badwater ultra-marathon. George placed 9th making him one of the best ultra-marathon runners in the world! Amy and Erin were a apart of his crew and will explain the race, the challenges and all the stories that went with the 100 mile+ journey. Plus Amy's medical breakdown.
This week: Sue Givens will be giving a USD 490 Update
***We will also be inducting Jim Kirkbride as a new member***
ROD: Sue Givens
*note*A small change for the 2016-2017 year is that in addition to leading the pledge of allegiance, I would like to have the ROD provide the prayer or find a fellow Rotarian to do so on their behalf.
***Playground map date is September 17th with a rain date of October 1. Put it on your calendars, I’m guessing a morning start would be best***
***Oktoberfest volunteers September 23rd. Sign up with the following link: El Dorado Oktoberfest Volunteers Needed***
