Dear Rotarians,

I have returned from the Rotary YP Summit as a part of this years’ Zone training program. The YP group met separately for the most part to discuss Rotary in our world and how we can continue to make things better. I am tentatively planning to have something together as a recap for the Club on our Dec 7th meeting.

Last week we heard from Don Engels, Butler County Clerk and the election process.

This week: Jim Graham, Kansas Council for Economic Education.

I am sending this early but wanted you all to have the information. You may want to bring a guest. This week’s Rotary program is Brian Stucky, from Goessel, Kansas. Brian’s area of expertise is in pioneer trails in central Kansas. He was invited in August 2012 to speak to the National Convention of the Oregon-California Trails Association . He has done research on the Cherokee trail that came through El Dorado and will be telling us about the early trails and beginnings of El Dorado . Dynamic Discs presents at Nov. 16 meeting

Dear Rotarians, Join us this week to welcome our newest member Ashley Sandstrum as she is inducted into Rotary. Last week we heard from Annette Gurney (Badway) from the US Attorney’s Office. She had some pretty interesting case pictures that she shared with us. This week: Dixon Jowers with Dynamic Discs will be here. They are the designer for the course.
