Rotary Meeting Nov 9, 2017-Welcome Center-Noon

Dear Rotarians,

We are getting together this evening to prep the dictionaries @5:30pm, several of you have indicated you will be in attendance so this should happen very quickly. Roughly 12 Rotarians have plans to attend Wednesday morning for the passing out of the dictionaries. If anyone else is available that would be great.

Last week we heard from fellow Rotarian Jim Graham with the Kansas Council for Economic Education. This program provides useful tools to help teach kids financial literacy.

This week: Annette Gurney, United States Attorney's Office.

*note*A small change for the 2016-2017 year is that in addition to leading the pledge of allegiance, I would like to have the ROD provide the prayer or find a fellow Rotarian to do so on their behalf.

Disc Golf Update: The designer has been selected; Eric McCabe from Dynamic Discs in Emporia. He was onsite last Wednesday to walk the course for the first time. He indicated that he would be back several more times in the coming weeks. The time frame for the first draft of the course is four-six weeks.
